UNILIA is proud to be showcasing ELECTRA, our latest heavy-duty fuel cell stack solution, at the 5th United Nations Development Program (UNDP) event in Foshan, China. The UN body is the co-sponsor of the International Hydrogen Energy & Fuel Cell Technology and Products Exhibition.
The event comes hot on the heels of the international climate summit known as COP26 where nearly 200 nations further aligned efforts to meet the goals of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. UNDP Foshan attracts global policymakers, scholars, and industry veterans to share their insights into a greener future powered by clean hydrogen energy.
ELECTRA is a TÜV Rheinland-certified, next-generation hydrogen fuel cell stack, built from the ground up by our world-class R&D team of electrochemical and stack engineers spanning Vancouver and Shanghai. We designed it to handle a broad range of heavy-duty end use cases from mass transit to heavy duty logistics and utility vehicles.
Interest in this type of zero emissions product is at an all time high in China where increasing emphasis is being placed on hydrogen as a vital component of the country’s 2060 carbon neutrality goals. The country has ambitious plans to build over 1,000 hydrogen refuelling stations for 50,000 to 100,000 anticipated fuel cell vehicles (FCEV’s) expected to hit the roads by 2035.
