Dump trucks and cement mixers are the backbone of construction, mining, and infrastructure projects, moving massive payloads through tough, unpredictable conditions. Traditionally, this work has come at a cost: high fuel consumption, diesel emissions, and noise. With Unilia’s hydrogen fuel cell technology, that’s changing. Our zero-emission hydrogen-electric power delivers the torque, endurance, and reliability these machines need without the environmental trade-offs.

Why Hydrogen for Construction & Mining Vehicles?

Zero-Emissions: Cut the environmental footprint on urban and remote job sites.
Full Shift Operation: Comparable range to diesel with quick refueling in minutes. No downtime.
Proven Durabilty: Engineered to withstand vibration, dust, and extreme weather conditions.
Quieter, Safer Sites: Lower noise levels improves communication, safety and comfort on site.

Heavy Loads. Clean Drive.

Model: 31 t Dump Truck

Hydrogen fuel cell dump trucks deliver powerful zero-emission performance for demanding construction and transport operations. Replacing diesel engines with hydrogen-electric drivetrains reduces particulate emissions and noise on urban job sites while maintaining the durability and torque required for heavy loads.

Powered by Unilia fuel cell stacks, the Skywell 31-tonne truck operates between construction and disposal sites with refueling times under 15 minutes and a range of up to 270 km. Several of these vehicles are in operation between Qingdao and Linyi, supporting the growth of a new hydrogen energy industrial cluster, proving that clean construction is ready for real-world work.

Build Big With Less Impact

Model: 31 t Cement Mixer

Hydrogen fuel cell cement mixers bring clean, efficient power to construction, offering zero emissions and quiet operation while maintaining the heavy-duty performance required for mixing and transport. Ideal for low-speed, high-demand duty cycles, they reduce air and noise pollution in enclosed or urban areas job sites.

Powered by Unilia fuel cell stacks, the Sany 31-tonne cement mixer features a 110kW fuel cell system, delivering up to 330 km of range with refueling time under 15 minutes. Designed for continuous operation, it demonstrates how hydrogen technology can meet the heavy, consistent power demands of modern construction while minimizing environmental impact.

Rock Solid Power. Zero Emissions.

Model: 110 t Mining Truck

In March 2025, REFIRE and its partners delivered China’s first 110-tonne hydrogen unmanned fuel cell mining truck to Shengli Energy in Inner Mongolia, setting a new benchmark for low-emission mine-site operations.

Powered by Unilia’s advanced fuel cell technology, the rigid- frame truck combines a 90-tonne vehicle weight with a 110-tonne payload. Its 70 MPa onboard storage system, 520 kW power output, and 50 km/h top speed give mining operators the performance they expect with dramatically reduced environmental impact.

Unilia’s fuel cell technology enables high efficiency, lower operational costs, and robust performance in harsh mining environments, bringing zero-emission heavy haulage into real-world operation.
